How Does God Want To Use You?

At Bethany Bible Church, we have many ways that we reach out to the community. We support a variety of ministries with funding and/or volunteers, giving you a chance to make a difference in someone's life. In return, your heart will be blessed in ways you may not have even expected.

The Bridge is a training and transitional ministry that helps families to get off of the street and receive training in various life skills. Volunteers are needed for a variety of ministry needs.

Child Evangelism Fellowship offers Good News Clubs in local elementary schools so that children can hear about God’s free gift of Jesus Christ. CEF is making a difference in lives of families. Find out how you can host a Good News Club in your local school or how you can help in an existing club.

Christian Family Care Agency helps to provide nurturing Christian families for children who need a foster or a “forever” family. CFCA also operates several Family Attic Thrift stores, which help to fund counseling and other services for families in need. Volunteers are needed for The Family Attic Thrift Stores, offering babysitting, making photo albums for children in foster care and a large variety of other tasks.

Crisis Pregnancy Centers of Greater Phoenix offers counseling and education to women and families in crisis as a result of unplanned pregnancy. They offer training to become a volunteer in their centers or to answer their hotlines.

Gospel 4 Kids offers monthly Gospel Parties for children as well as training classes for parents, grandparents, and children’s workers on “Leading a Child to Christ.” If you would like to attend a training session or have someone come and do a Gospel Party for your event, please e-mail the address below.

House of Refuge - Sunnyslope serves men who come from the street, detention centers, hospitals, human service agencies, and from church referrals.  They must work, attend Bible studies, do chores, and will get other help to meet particular needs.  You can become involved in Bible Studies, cooking, repair work, mentoring, office help, and other special needs.

International Students, Inc. encourages and trains churches to reach out to international students on campuses and in their communities so they can experience Christ through simple acts of love and come to know Him.  Through Bible studies, fellowship opportunities, and developing personal relationships, reach the open hearts and minds for His service with great power and influence back in their home countries.

Phoenix Rescue Mission
is a ministry to feed, shelter and restore hope to those who are hungry, homeless or in need. Bethany has a team that goes to PRM monthly to lead a Sunday evening worship service. Ministry opportunities also include serving meals, sorting items in their distribution center and a variety of other things.

Prison Fellowship Ministries
exhorts, assists and equips prisoners and their families. They offer a variety of training sessions to help individuals reach out to prisoners and their families.
