Jim has been asked to teach the "History of Redemption" through the Bible for summer school students. This could be strategic to help these workers give effective presentations of the Gospel. • June 3-4 Jim is teaching a workshop on "How to Preach Christ Out of the Old Testament." Pray that the students will put it into practice. • Even in churches in Germany, it is becoming more and more politically incorrect to speak about Jesus, though it's all right to talk about God. Jim's desire is to teach young pastors to make Christ central. • Next school year Jim will be teaching in the college program, the evening school, and the extension program. It will be draining. • Evelyn is tutoring a neighbor's three daughters in English. That family is not happy with organized religion. Pray for the Andersons' witness to their neighbors.

Family News

Carmen and her husband are serving in dangerous country in Central Asia. • Dorothy finished her master's degree at the U. of Alabama and is taking test to become a registered nurse. • Edward is working with disadvantaged children in Cambodia. • Anita is finishing her B.A. degree in International Business in France and needs wisdom regarding future plans, including interest in a young man.
