Many people assume that in a church as large as Bethany Bible Church, we don’t need any more volunteers. Perhaps they think that the positions are too visible and they’re a “behind the scenes” kind of person.

We’ve got GREAT news! We need YOU and have a wide variety of Ministry opportunities in all areas! Here are a few ideas of ways that YOU can be involved and participate in what God is doing at Bethany.

Do you enjoy hospitality? How about helping to prepare and set up food for various ministry events? Have you thought about opening up your home for a small group study or meeting interesting people by volunteering at the BBC Espresso in The Chapel?

We also need individuals to: set up the trays for communion and clean them afterwards, assist people in checking out sermon tapes from our tape library on Sunday mornings, help clean the Worship Center, and give extra attention to the landscaping.

Does ink interest you? Would you like to run a Risograph color ink press to print stationary, envelopes and weekly bulletins? We can train you!

Maybe you’d like to take home a “Ministry in a Box”. These Ministry opportunities are varied. It may be typing something on the computer and loading it on a disc, collating a Core Class booklet, putting labels on envelopes and stuffing them, cutting out materials to be used in the Children’s Ministry, or something else.

Are you electrically inclined? Perhaps you’ve always thought you would enjoy helping with the sound and lighting for worship services or special events. We need help recording Sunday’s sermons and duplicating them. Do you like making videos? The Senior High would like help creating short videos to promote upcoming events.

Artistic people are needed to help with sets, decorations and visual elements for the worship services, Alethia productions, Women’s Ministries events and the Senior High room.

The Children’s Ministry needs teachers for Sundays and Wednesdays, as well as Nursery volunteers. The Music Department wants more voices and instrumentalists to join them in praising God. We need additional greeters and ushers.

Have we captured your imagination? Maybe you’ve thought of something that’s not listed. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t needed… rather that we ran out of room. YOU are needed. Come on and join us! Allow yourself the joy of serving God and being involved here at Bethany Bible Church.
